Is Chronic Commissions a scam?
This is another no brainer product targeting at folks looking for “all things hands free” with the story of a couch surfer, who knows sh*t about internet marketing, promising simple push button set up (and it really is), then sit back, relax and wait for the money to roll in. All you really needed to set this thing up is a Clickbank account id, a PayPal account and an Aweber Autoresponder, and you are ready to go. You are not required to have a website to get this thing to work for you – Perfect for those lazy bums busy city folks who are too busy to learn web designing….yeah right.
We have not had our hands on this product, created by Corey Lewis, Winter Valko and the former couch surfer, Caleb Abrams, so this review is base entirely on our research, which the information are gathered mostly from comments in blogs and forums.
On first look at the sales page, we get out of it in less than 10 seconds – We really did because we won’t last more than 10 seconds on any intros who try to tell us how “with a click of the mouse” you can be richer than God, and those “life sucks with a job” and all that financial freedom rants. So, we summoned big G’s SE to help us with some detective work to check on other sites which are also reviewing Chronic Commissions. The results are just as crappy, probably only 2 with pretty decent and fake-unbiased write-up about Chronic Commissions. We decided to turn to our favorite forums and blogs to check if anyone is writing about it. Surprisingly, this BS actually is receiving rave reviews in a very popular forum.
From what we have read, the whole setup in Chronic Commissions is very simple and takes very little time even for newbies – Hey look, if that couch surfer can do it with a library computer on a 15 minutes time limit, you should be able to do it blind folded. Getting Started With Chronic Commissions
After you’ve made purchase, you will receive an email with the login details. Click the link http://www.affcomm.com/members and you will land on the login page with nothing mention about Chronic Commissions. It says AFFCOMM, don’t scream you are at the back-end of Chronic Commissions, that’s where you begin your affiliate with the program. Hate it or love it, read on.
We have mentioned above that you need an Autoresponder, of course you can do away with it, but that’ll be stupid. So we insist that you get an autoresponder. This is because you are offered to get paid per lead by the Chronic Commissions folks, OR you use your Aweber to build a list for yourself. Of course you choose to build your own list, otherwise you’ll be building other folks’ list. The money is always in the list. Don’t forget that.

Once you have logged in, go straight to the SETTINGS page and set up the following;
- Enter your Clickbank affiliate id
- Enter your Paypal Account email address
- Make sure you checked on Aweber at “Your List Building Settings”
- Enter List ID (See video in the SETTINGS page, it shows you how to get the List ID)
- Lastly give a name to your List, anything.
Anyway, there is a video explaining everything you need to do at the SETTINGS page. In fact, every page or section has a video to guide you through so you should not have any problem with the setting-up.
Once you are done at the SETTINGS page, next click on CAMPAIGNS. In the CAMPAIGNS page;
- Choose from 5 programs that has high converting rate to promote, you may choose all, one at a time.
- Enter a Tracking ID for each of the programs that you are promoting. The Tracking ID is to identify the program that you are promoting, so you can enter anything you like, eg. prog1, prog2, prog3….
- Be sure to check on Squeeze Page instead of Sales Letter for “Create link to”, otherwise you will not collect any leads and not build your list. Hit the Create Link button and you are presented with your Squeeze Page link. You’ll be impressed with the Squeeze Page, everything is just so automated, from setting up to seeing your squeeze page live – less than 5 minutes.
So what’s next?
You are now ready to build up your list and make some money at the same time. When a visitor lands at your squeeze page, enter his email address and hit “Get Instant Access”, his email address will be captured and goes into your list, and he will be presented with the sales page of the product that you are promoting, of course with your affiliate id in it. When the visitor makes a purchase, you get paid.
How Traffic is Generated With Chronic Commissions?
The next section you should visit is the TRAFFIC page. In it is a list of about 20 entities with their own email list. Each detailing their list size, results and cost per click. What’s all this you may ask. Well, after you have done creating your squeeze page, you need to promote it and collect leads to build up your list. That is where you can enlist their help and leverage on their lists for a fee. So Chronic Commissions is not a pay once and forget program, you need start-up cost to get the program work for you effectively. Of course you can do your own promotion, then Chronic Commissions is nothing but an expensive squeeze page creating software for you.

Can Anyone Make Money With Chronic Commissions?
Frankly, we are very impressed with the simple set up for a legitimate affiliate marketing business. Perfectly designed for those who wants set and forget, no SEO crap to deal with as with a website and most of all, you have great targeted traffic totally hands free (but with a running cost, too bad).
We can’t say how much money you can make out of this. If you consider the 20 people who are going to mass email for other Chronic Commissions users to their lists, which could run into tens of thousands….can you imagine if you are in the list and start to receive all the same offers from almost everyone daily, people may start to unsubscribe from the list. But, considering it’s a huge list of targeted traffic and a great opportunity to build up your own list, we can’t say for sure if you should pass out this offer totally for good either.
